We travel down to Florida from Canada yearly and go out of our way to go to Sweet Soul every trip just to get icecream and chia pudding. Just stopped in and found out there’s no more soft serve and the bowl was much smaller in portion size for toppings than ever before. The girl working didn’t seem to be enjoying her shift, but she was by herself and a few people had ordered, so maybe she was just overwhelmed. Either way, the fact that I needed a minute with the menu seemed to annoy her. Definitely not the vibe and energy I’d get each time before this. I bought an extra chia pudding because the parfait I got was so much smaller than I remember, but it doesn’t taste like it used to. So disappointed, especially when we drove 45mins out of the way and have to pay the brutal exchange rate. I hate leaving a negative review for a place I literally look forward to each trip down to Florida.

Honestly the bowls are good, I will not lie. However the employees seem to pick and choose whose they want to greet, and have the “gen z stare” where they just stare at you when you walk in. What happened to customer service? It’s disappointing, especially since I do like the bowls but it often deters me from coming. So I only come every once in a while. They also do not scoop the bases anymore so you can’t mix & match. They come in premade bowls. Once there was a kind manager there (male, blonde I think) who made the employees ask me what they could do for me - the customer. Which was an improvement, but jeeze. I walk in and they just stare at me…. Interesting. Hopefully some changes are made 🤍

I enjoyed Coconut Shaved Bowl, the location was pretty busy. I'll say this, treat the to pickup orders quality the same as the dine in orders. Paying additional toppings and not receiving them is unacceptable, plus with a tip for service that part needs to meet the expectation to the customer. Overall, Sweet Soul has good items to choose from based on their menu.

I love that this place has a pretty solid grasp on alternative/healthy options for a sweet treat. There are açai bowls are really lovely. Personally I think their coconut milk based ice cream is really nice, and the banana splits is a once in a while, total indulgence. The people that work here are always attentive and sweet. I also really love all the outdoor seating, and it tends to be a gathering place for people every time I go by there.

Everything they make tastes unbelievably fresh, vibrant, and full of real ingredients you can feel good about. Their smoothie and açai bowls are perfectly balanced, creamy, refreshing, and loaded with flavor and texture. You can taste the quality in every bite. The fresh fruit soft serve is out of this world and makes for the perfect healthy treat that still feels indulgent. The atmosphere is bright, clean, and welcoming, and the staff always greet you with a smile. Clara is the best and she is so informative, friendly, and clearly passionate about what she does, making every visit even better. Whether you are starting your morning, grabbing something after a workout, or just craving something light and refreshing, Sweet Soul is the place to go in Soho. Truly the definition of fresh, healthy, and delicious. 💜🍓🥥
